With seats for up to eight occupants, the 2027 Traverse belongs on the list of anyone who’s looking for a comfortable three-row utility vehicle. It also can tow as much as 5,000 pounds and leads its segment with 98 cubic feet of cargo space available when the middle and back rows aren’t needed for passengers. There’s also an available seven-passenger configuration, which gives second-row passengers separate bucket seats for individual space and comfort.
Chevrolet has done some streamlining to the Traverse’s trim roster for this new model year, taking away the High Country. They’ve also added some new options, including the Hit the Road Package (rooftop crossbars and molded assist steps) for the LT. Higher up the trim ladder, the Z71 is now eligible for the Adventure Package (molded assist steps, roof-rack bars, splash guards, and 18-inch aluminum wheels with a gloss-black finish). The RS has been given an upgraded suspension and upholstery, plus an interior camera that shows the driver a live feed of the rear seats and can record for security purposes.
